It does not contain ammonia (if it does, to be confirmed) and does not alter the hair structure. It is deposited on the surface of the hair fiber to add shine, highlights, and enhance the existing color. The result is temporary and gradually fades over 6 to 8 weeks.

Gloss & Shine can slightly reduce the appearance of gray hair by adding shine and highlights, but it won't completely cover it like permanent hair color.
